Good news for my fellow Lil Wayne fans! Drake announced late last night the release date for Weezy’s new album “Carter 5”! The new album will hit stores May 5th this year, and will maybe even hit your ear drums a bit sooner than that! Check out the details below!
Drake brought Lil Wayne on stage during his performance at New Orleans’ House of Blues tonight, and then he announced the release date for Wayne’s Tha Carter V. According to Drake, the new album will come out May 5. Along with the bombshell announcement, Drake and Wayne performed “HYFR.” He also brought out 2 Chainz and French Montana for his performance, which is taking place during NBA’s All-Star Weekend festivities.
I hope Wayne is really working hard on this one. I want him to get in touch with the Carter 2, and the Dedication, Lil Wayne. Give us Drought 3 material, with the hunger you had on The Carter. Listen, Wanye has it in him, I’m just not sure if he know’s we aren’t satisifed with what he has been feeding us. Deliver, go hard, show us that 2008 Wayne, the guy who was disrespecting every track, the beast, the savage, the fire flame spitter!! Mannn we miss that Weezy!! DeWayne, seriously, let’s get it!!!
