As The BET Honors awards show took over the Warner Theatre so did all of the stars! The event celebrating and honoring African American icons was filled with stunning acts; hit the jump for more.
With Wayne Brady as the host, the BET Honors show was bound for comedic greatness! The event took place at the Warner Theatre and honored the likes of Aretha Franklin, Berry Gordon and many others. Jennifer Hudson, paid tribute to the great Aretha Franklin, while Ludacris paid tribute to fellow rapper turned actor, Ice Cube. Tamar Braxton paid tribute to Motown’s legend Berry Gordy, as she sang Diana Ross’ ‘Upside Down’.
Mariah Carey took to the eventful night to debut her latest single ‘Your Mine’, dressed to impress of course, and was welcomed with embrace by her daughter Monroe as she exited the stage.
The BET Honors event will be airing Monday February 24th.
