Though she won an award at the Grammys this past weekend and was quite happy about it, and though she was running around at all of the Grammy before and after parties this weekend, Rihanna was a no-show at the actual show itself. Then earlier this afternoon, she posted a hilarious #tbt to take a jab at the situation. So what gives? I’m going to take a wild guess, and assume that it’s because she doesn’t have the greatest association with the big night. In 2009, she was on her way to the Grammys with Chris Brown when that infamous incident went down, and they never made it to the show. She did attend a couple of times since then, but most recently it was with Chris last year, so she probably just wanted to avoid any and all painful memories. I don’t blame her!
