As Kendrick Lamar readies himself for his debut performance at the Grammys, it seems like the West Coast repper is making sure the crowd is active! Kendrick is rumored to be setting off his performance with an ultimate banger; hit the jump for more!
TDE’s own Kendrick is making his mark on the Grammy stage with not only a performance of ‘M.A.A.D. City’ but he’s also bringing in some new sounds to make this rendition very special:
“In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that the two Interscope labelmates will perform a mash up of Imagine Dragon’s “Radioactive” and Kendrick Lamar’s “M.A.A.D. City” at the 56th annual Grammy Awards,” reports AllHipHop
The genre mash up between the two has been done at past Grammys, yet both artists are looking to make this collaboration one for the books! The lead ‘Radioctive’ artist himself said that he is channeling the ‘Hunger Games’ for some inspiration:
“In a perfect world, it would be like the ‘Hunger Games’ and at the end, me and Kendrick would light on fire,” Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds told the THR reporter about his vision for the performance,” MTV
