Such a BRAVE little boy! Tyler Doohan, 8, was the first of his family to be awakened by the flames that ran through their Penfield, New York home.
Around 4:45 am Monday, Tyler ran to wake and warn two adults and four children to leave the house. Once they all got to safety, the selfless child realized that two family members, with disabilities were still inside. Tyler went back into the home to help, but he never made it back out. The fire had taken his life along with the rest of the family that he went back in to save. Such sad news! An 8-year-old with such a BIG heart! Check out the super trooper after the jump.
Keep in mind, all things great in the gallery!
“To go running back in there it’s quite something. It’s probably not what you teach in fire school, however he did it and that’s how we’re going to remember him,” says Monroe County School Superintendent Richard Stutzman.
