Things aren’t going too well for Justin Bieber this week. After [reportedly] egging his neighbor’s home and causing $20k worth of damage, he got his house raided by police, his best friend got arrested for felony drug possession, and tons of law enforcement are probably enjoying the naked selfies on his phone right now. However, there’s at least some good news for him: despite the rampant rumors that he could be deported to Canada should he be found guilty of the felony vandalism charge he is facing for the egging, he will 100% be allowed to stay in the U.S. This doesn’t mean he still won’t get jail time (though I’m 99.99999% sure he won’t anyway), but at least he won’t have to leave the country!
In order to be deported for a crime, the offender must commit what is called an “aggravated” offense. Egging/vandalism is not on that list.
