HBO began shooting for one of it’s newest shows called “Ballers”. The show is a dramedy chronicling the lives of active and retired athletes living in Miami.
A few real life ballers graced the set this weekend, Eagles WR DeSean Jackson and Falcons RB Steven Jackson were on set. Jackson is a good friend of Academy Award winner Denzel Washington’s son, JD who is also on the show. JD will play the role of Ricky, a highly competitive and highly spiritual pro athlete. Washington joins former Bruins footballer Donovan Carter, who plays Vernon, a deeply family oriented pro athlete.
