(B)lack (E)ntertainment (T)elevision happens to be one of the headliners involved in a lawsuit. Yes, a network that is suppose to embrace differences. Check out the deets after the jump.

Transgendered female, B. Scott is known for rocking some of the most glam outfits, and can step out in heels even some of the baddest born females couldn’t rock, which is why BET called on her “to be the Style Stage Correspondent for the 2013 BET Awards 106 and Park Pre-Show” back in June.
Transgendered is this person’s life, yet BET got brand new on a sista. B. Scott penned an open letter about the treatment from the network, and was not at all pleased after the “weather appropriate” outfit that was approved by producers was then slammed.
BET stated that it was not intentionally hurt anyone. Now, e-mails between BET executives have been put on blast. They first state that B. Scott “had been drinking, was unruly, had shown up late, and was wearing garments that were not pre-approved.” Music Programming President Stephen Hill wrote, “I don’t want ‘looking like a woman B Scott.’ I want tempered B Scott.” Network VP Rhonda Cowan responded with, “I can speak to him about being less ‘womanly.'”
Sounds like discrimination to ME, but the question should be, WHAT WERE THE DATES OF THESE E-MAILS? This needs to be worked out…I’d love to hear the outcome.
