A 35 year old man from Utah, is clearly willing to die at the cost of others inequality, after he has embarked on a hunger strike till their is a stop to a nullification policy allowing gay couples to get married in his home state. Trestin Meacham the rebel with no cause, has starved him self for over 12 days losing 25 lbs, and his defense? Hit the jump for his full response!
“I cannot stand by and do nothing while this evil takes root in my home,” the 35-year-old reportedly wrote on his blog. “Some things in life are worth sacrificing one’s health and even life if necessary. I am but a man, and do not have the money and power to make any noticeable influence in our corrupt system. Nevertheless, I can do something that people in power cannot ignore.” HP
The problem is I’m not sure the people he’s trying to “reach”, care for his ignorant tactics.
