The marijuana trend seems to be very prevalant with the new year, as now The Governor of New York, Andrew M. Cuomo is set to lower restrictions on marijuana policies, hit the jump for more!
Democrat Governor Andrew M Cuomo has made the decision to make his announcement this upcoming week on his executive action to “allow limited use of the drug by those with serious illnesses.”
“Mr. Cuomo’s plan will be far more restrictive than the laws in Colorado or California, where medical marijuana is available to people with conditions as mild as backaches. It will allow just 20 hospitals across the state to prescribe marijuana to patients with cancer, glaucoma or other diseases that meet standards to be set by the New York State Department of Health.” NYTimes
This will be a major change in a state notoriously known for giving hefty marijuana charges.
