Waka Flocka has lost another brother. Yesterday evening, his younger brother and aspiring rapper, Kayo Redd, was found dead in Atlanta. Details are scarce right now, with some reports saying he was murdered, and others calling it a suicide. Their mother, Mizay Entertainment’s Debra Antney, took to her Twitter shortly after the news was revealed, sadly tweeting, “I lost another son.”
Waka raps about the death of his other brother on his breakout song “Hard In The Paint,” when he says, “When my little brother died, I said ‘f*ck school!'” He was killed in a car accident in 2000. His close friend and artist, Slim Dunkin, was murdered almost 2 years ago to the day in Atlanta as well, and with him and Gucci Mane falling out this year too, things cannot be easy on the Brick Squad rapper. RIP to Kayo, and condolences to Waka and the family!
