A ceiling apparently collapsed at a crowded London theater during a performance Thursday night, trapping people inside and causing “a number” of injuries. Fire engines and police made their way to the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue in central London early in the performance of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” There was no specific word on possible deaths or injuries but theatergoers claim people in the stalls had been hit by large chunks of falling ceiling. Police said there were a number of casualties, according to the AP, but it was not clear if they included any deaths.
