TIME Magazine isn’t known for Hip-Hop much at all, but a real, true-to-form RAP song made their Top 10 Songs list this year: Big Sean’s “Control,” featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. This song wasn’t mainstream by any means, and wasn’t even an official single, but Kendrick caused so many waves with his verse, people are STILL talking about it…even in songs. (J. Cole’s verse on “TKO“, anyone?) It’s dope to see such a prestigious publication like TIME recognize such a true hip-hop track, isn’t it? Check out their full top 10 list below!
