I’m going to need Cleveland’s security to do a little better. Not only is this the second time a fan has made it onto the court, he was out there for almost a full possession looking like the sixth man.
The fan tapped Kyrie Irving on the shoulder trying to show him his t-shirt which said “KYRIE DON’T LEAVE” on it. He then ran up the court with Irving until the ref blew the whistle and security came to escort him away.
According to ESPN, the Cavaliers confirmed the fan, who is a minor, was in custody and removed from the arena.
Last season, when the Cavaliers were playing the Miami Heat, a fan ran onto the court during the fourth quarter with a shirt that read “We Miss You” on the front and “LeBron 2014” on the back.
