Sneakerheads and basketball fans alike may have noticed something about Lebron this season. His highly marketed and sold “Lebron 11’s” are barely ever touching the feet of King James himself. He has been wearing the Lebron 10’s almost every game with a couple exceptions. I personally prefer the 10’s over the 11’s anyway, but there is a very good reason Bron has refused to wear the news ones. Hit the jump.

Apparently, Bron has a King sized issue with how the sneakers fit. “I just want to be able to wear them,” James told ESPN.com. “It has been a frustrating process. But obviously, I know that Nike wants to do what’s best. They’re not going to put me out there in harm’s way. So we’re redefining the shoe to fit what’s best for my foot. I could wear them, but they don’t feel as great as I want them to feel,” James said. “So we’re redefining them, and I feel like this next round is going to be perfect.”
This puts Nike in an awkward position. How can you sell a pair of kicks for $200, that the actual person they were made for to endorse is not happy with them. Being real however, that will never stop sneakerheads and hypebeast from heading to the store anyway. So as we speak, the Lebron 11’s are being “redefined” to James liking. He will not wear them until the process is complete.
