A U.S. veteran has been detained in Korea for more than a month after being accused by the Communist government on “hostile acts” during his time in the Korean War. North Korea accused 84 year old Merrill E. Newman of a long list of war crimes, including killing civilians. Newman, a California native, was pulled off a Air Koyko flight on October 26th.
