We all know Metta can say some crazy sounding things so I am not sure what to make of this. Let’s just say if the Knicks continue their losing ways and coach Mike Woodson finds himself out of a job, I don’t think Metta would miss him too much. Hit the jump for more.

“I honestly didn’t even know who the coach was when I was coming to New York,” he said earlier this week, via ESPNNewYork.com. “I just wanted to win a championship; I didn’t even know who was coaching. I didn’t care. It could have been Aunt Jemima. They could have had the syrup coaching. I was coming here regardless. I just wanted to win a championship here.”
Syrup could of been coaching? Seriously? LOL. Well hopefully by now he realizes who he is playing for and the Knicks as a whole can get it together.
