An autistic teen from Marlboro, New Jersey has been found safe and sound in Cleveland, Ohio after a week of an intense hunt. 19-year-old Michael Karwan apparently left his house without a coat, hat, or gloves after getting into an argument with his parents because he did not want to do his homework.
According to the office of U.S. Rep. Michael Grimm who has been assisting in the search for the boy, the young man was spotted trying to check into a hotel using his ID card. There’s still no conformation on how Karwan got from N.J. to Cleveland, but his family is so thankful that they found their son. They were offering a $25,000 reward for anyone who had information regarding their child.
What a perfect thing to be thankful for during this holiday season!
