DMX’s ex-wife Tashera Simmons recently chopped it up with Coco Fab and spoke on a bunch of issues. Simmons revealed that ever since she broke-up with X, he completely forgot about his four children they have together and turned into a dead beat dad. She also dished on her new boyfriend, her new tell-all book called “You Think You Know But You Have No Idea,” and legally divorcing DMX. See what else Dark Man X’s baby moms had to say below!
On X’s parenting and involvement in the kid’s lives:
No, not a consistent [father] at all. It’s so sad because he was at a time a really good dad. But after we broke up, it’s like they don’t really exist to him anymore.
On their divorce:
We will be legally divorced this month hopefully. I’m really excited about it but he won’t comply. He doesn’t want to sign for nothing. I’ve been going to court and pushing for the child support, and now the judge is honoring it because he sees that X really isn’t complying. There are a lot of tax issues that I had nothing to do with but they are tied into it. So the judge is going to honor my divorce.
On Tashera’s new boyfriend:
I am actually seeing someone now. I can definitely be proud to say it because the person is very different, very respectful, humble, just a normal guy. Of course, when you’ve been through what I’ve been through your guard is up. However, we’ve been having such a great year and a half. I can say that I’m not just dating, he’s definitely someone very special to me. I just take it day by day, but so far so good.
