Ron Howard’s Jay-Z documentary, Made In America, will be rereleased on the silver screen! 4 Films has acquired the movie’s rights and will be bringing to theaters Summer 2014. The documentary follows Brooklyn’s legendary rapper as he plans a music festival, with some of the industry’s brightest stars gracing the stage. To read more, click below.
The documentary follows Hov around as he plans a two day Philadelphia music festival, with artist such as Drake, Pearl Jam, Run DMC, The Hive, Passion Pit, Calvin Harris, Janelle Monae and Skrillex performing and expected 80,000 fans in the stands. CAA brokered the U.S. rights deal on behalf of the filmmakers. Canadian rights were handled by The Exchange. Here’s what CEO of Phase 4 Films, Berry Meyerowitz, had to say:
