50 is definitely an investor of a Live Broadcasting App called “Hang W/”, Which has been bubbling since May, but now with 50 involved, and known for being ahead of the curve in digital(i.e. Thisis50.com), can Hang W/ Take off?!
My 1st Hang W/ was on May 29th, but due to the over ringing notifications, and the team having launched out a successful music app(#DjFunkFlexApp) a couple months prior, I had to fade on the app a little. The App is So fun and very interactive, as you get 3 minutes to broadcast live video of yourself and your surroundings, then people that follow you, or tune into this broadcast can chat with you, you can answer back live over the broadcast. It’s like having Ask.FM/Twitter mixed with a way longer version of Vine/IG Video in one! The Best part about Hang W/ is the taking the sex infusion Vine and IG has but Live, so you’re not just watching something someone posted and wishing they followed you in hopes of getting to know them, you’re getting to know them in real time, and they interact with you in real time!
The only downside that I see to Hang W/ at this point is if you don’t have a personality, don’t have time to use, or are just boring, you will not really have a presence on it, which could overall stunt the growth. BUT that’s also the best part, it could potentially make a star that deserves to be a star!!
Here’s what Hang W/’s president Dave Swartz had to say about 50’s involvement:
“I think the reason 50 Cent really likes Hang W/ is because at the end of the day it’s real and it can’t be faked….It’s a social media that hasn’t existed yet and has the ability to connect people on a whole new level. I think he really saw that when he was exposed to it. When we started working on Hang W/, we were really looking into a lot of our clients who were celebrities and musicians and actors and athletes and we building apps for those people.”

Now When I was on in May, I saw Chief Keef using it a lot, and Timberland was featured, but now that 50 is involved, Hang W/ has a solid chance of popping off…Right?!
