I love it, Tech is leaking into every aspect of life, and now Beyonce has made history by interacting with a fan through another fans FaceTime!!
It went down on the Australian leg of the “Mrs. Carter World Tour”, Beyonce stopped the show to see a concert goers phone during him face timing his friend, she grabbed the phone and said “Nice to meet you”.
Now the real issue for future concerts is, by facetimimg during a show, a fan can get a piece of the experience without paying not one red cent for the show(although that experience is NOT one for a real fan), and if I know these artists, their not going to be happy with that notion. Does that meant they may charge more per ticket for the inclusion of your bestie watching from the phone, or will they start imposing a net over the venue that shuts off cell signal?! I’m pretty sure this will lead to something, at some point!
