Earlier today I posted a story about Louisville’s Kevin Ware having beef with Pelicans’ Anthony Davis. Well surprise, surprise a statement was released claiming that Ware didn’t send the tweets and that he was hacked.
University of Louisville’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations Kenny Klein released a statement claiming Ware’s innocence.
There were Twitter posts attributed to Kevin Ware that were not his. I spoke with Kevin, he said he did not send them & has no idea who did. Kevin changed his password, deleted the tweets & is completely shutting down his account. He had not originated any tweets since mid-July. Kevin Ware said he has nothing against Anthony Davis and he is sorry that his account was used to direct the comments toward him.
How convenient… Well the pictures don’t lie and Ware and Davis did indeed date the same girl. I guess it’s pure coincidence that whoever hacked his account targeted Anthony.
There were also a couple of other tweets that certainly wouldn’t bode well for Ware’s collegiate and professional career including a threat and possible gang affiliation. So the ‘I was hacked’ excuse goes much further than to protect him from looking like an idiot fighting over a girl…
