If you know the Black Mamba then you know Kobe Bryant is working very hard to come back and hit the court. Though the Lakers haven’t been as bad as everyone thought they would be, they’re currently 1-2 without their star player and go to shooter. Well it turns out he might be back sooner than expected.
Kobe Bryant says he is now able to sprint and work on conditioning, according to Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
Bryant told reporters before the Lakers’ Friday night matchup with the San Antonio Spurs that he had a good week of training. He also said he would count it as one of the three weeks of conditioning he had previously said he would need before he would be able to return to the court.
Kobe tore his Achilles at the end of the 2013 regular season, and has yet to set a return date. However if what he said is true we may see the Mamba back in a couple weeks.
