You may or may not know but we really like Soundtracking over here at IFWT, but even without that they just added some things that everyone is going to enjoy!
I said all that to say, this isn’t just a favor post. If you follow me on Twitter or IG, you know I bring attention to updates, call them out good or useless, but rarely make a post out of it, well this Soundtracking update definitely has the potential to help people connect on a level for the love of the same music with the ability to have a digital as well as a physical friendship!
Today Soundtrack Intro’d a new logo & design, and although nice, that’s not the news, they intro’d some new discovery features!! 1st is “Song of the Day” which is great for the new artist trying tot be seen and heard, and for you to find them easier. Then you have Trending, which of course is a lot like Twitter’s Trending topics, but music specifically, which means the most talked about amongst the whole platform. Then, the one I really like is “Nearby Posts”! Let me tell you why I really like that one, you can literally meet people with you same music tastes in your area, and s we know Music is one of those things that touch one’s soul, possibly giving you a deeper connection. Now at time of this post, I’m in in Greenpoint Brooklyn, and it took me a sec to find a couple people with my taste, but I’m not staying but I can’t wait to try out some where that I am around!!
