Things got heated today as the Dallas Cowboys took on the Detroit Lions. The spotlight was already casted on Dez Bryant after recent comments he made about Calvin Johnson aka Megatron. Bryant knew he would have to perform exceptionally well after comparisons about the two were made all week leading up to the game. Well things didn’t go so well for Bryant and he let everyone have it.
His first blowup was directed towards the coaches and quarterback Tony Romo. He had two catches for 22 yards at the time.
I guess that tantrum worked because it led to a 50-yard touchdown for Bryant.
It seemed like the Cowboys had the game sewn up as they led 30-24. But they let the Detroit Lions regain possession and quarterback Matthew Stafford had the drive of a lifetime putting the team up 31-30 with 12 seconds left and securing the win.
Bryant threw another tantrum this time Jason Witten received the brunt of the turmoil but he himself was ready to unleash as DeMarcus Ware stood in between the two.
Dez Bryant finished with 3 receptions for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns while Calvin Johnson finished with 14 receptions for 329 yards and 1 touchdown.
