Reverand Al Sharpton has given his feelings towards Jay Z’s executive decision to wait until the story unfolds to decide whether he will be making any changes with his charitable Barneys Collaboration, and as he states, critics are focusing on the wrong person when it comes to “making this about Jay Z”:
“Some people want to make this about Jay-Z,” Sharpton said. “No, this is about Barneys first,” stated the activist during his stop at the NAtional Action Network offices.
“The civil rights leader also said that Barney’s better come up with a plan for the alleged racist actions of the New York store. A boycott may result if a meeting between NAN and Barney’s doesn’t yield a satisfactory plan,” reports AllHipHop
