A couple of months back, Bad Boy rapper Machine Gun Kelly revealed that he had to chop his beloved mohawk off for a movie role, though he was quite coy as to any further details on the gig. Now that they’ve officially wrapped, he’s able to talk about what he was involved in, and it sounds like it’s going to be dope!

From the director of “Love & Basketball” comes “Blackbird,” a film about a burgeoning songstress (played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw) who was dating a bad ass rapper, Kid Culprit (played by MGK), but ends up falling in love with a cop.
