Is retirement in Lil Wayne’s near future? Quite possibly! For some time, and most recently during his sit-down on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Weezy has said that Tha Carter V would be his last album before retiring. However, he’s also said that before then, he’d be releasing an album with Birdman and other projects with his crew. It looks like that may have changed, though.

Over the weekend, Cash Money’s Senior VP Mel Smith sent out a tweet (in the gallery) promising new music from C5 would be released soon. If Wayne sticks to his plan, this could definitely mean retirement is coming much sooner than later! What will the game be without Lil Tunechi?!
