A 18 year old woman, who was rushed to the hospital after fainting on a subway train, was sexually assaulted by a Brooklyn Hospital Center worker while in the ER. The victim, who was in and out of consciousness, said the worker grabbed her hand to put it on his crotch several times. SMH! There are some sick people who live in this world. This is what the victim had to say about the incident:
“I remember a nurse or someone trying to put a blood-pressure cuff around my arm,.That’s when I started to wake up. The only thing that was going through my mind was, ‘Open your eyes so you can see his face.’ ”
During the assault, the victim’s mother was on the other side of the curtain by her daughter’s bed. The suspect had asked her to step aside, so he could take her daughter’s blood pressure. When the young woman was able to open her eyes, she told her mother what happened and they called her father to the hospital. Once he got to the ER, the father confronted the suspect and called the police. By the time the police arrived, the 55 year old suspect was gone.
It’s really ridiculous, how a person isn’t even safe at the hospital! The suspect is lucky, that the father didn’t arrive in the ER and go crazy on him. Brooklyn Hospital Center may need better people running it!
