As the celebrity in the situation, the focus has been on Adrian Peterson but who is the mother of the deceased child? It’s reportedly a woman named Ashley Ann Doohen. Read more after the jump.
She had an encounter with Peterson but was not sure of the paternity of her son. After a paternity test ruled another man out, Peterson was contacted. According to TMZ, Peterson only recently learned of the child and made plans to travel to Sioux Falls to visit him but then tragedy struck. He met the 2-year old boy for the first time while he was on life support before the family decided to have it discontinued.
