Principal, Todd Whitmire suspended twelve students from Pittsburg High School in California after they FB’d and IG’d a photo of himself seemingly placing a teenage girl in a choke-hold. Whitmire claims, “I had separated her and she began struggling and I was pushing her away to get her away from the area and she fell down.” Sure. He had to restrain her as she and a male student had got into an altercation. Whitmire then states that he didn’t suspend the other twelve students for putting him on blast, but for the welfare of the teen in the photo – Ashley Johnson – her and the other student weren’t even fighting, she says. Mad cause you got caught!
Johnson claims, “I wasn’t fighting back. I was lying on the ground.” In her defense, the principal used excessive force. Of course the police have taken the word of the principal, but if you ponder over the photo, it looks like a choke hold to me – with knee in her back. Hit the jump and check it out.
Photo in the gallery! I’d simply suggest a proper investigation!
