Is he a bitter old man, or is he 100% correct? Kareem was on ESPN First Take yesterday and was there to discuss Dwight Howard. He proceeds to praise Dwight for being a nice guy, but pretty much trashes his basketball game. He even said it was “easy” to help get Lakers big men ready to play against him before he became a member of the Lakers last season. Kareem has been pretty critical of Dwight ever since he decided to go to Houston, so it is hard to decipher if his analysis comes from strictly basketball talk, or if his ego was hurt as a former Laker when Howard decided to throw the deuces up and hit H-town. Kareem also talked trash about Andrew Bynum last year after reports came out that while Bynum was still in L.A., he eventually brushed off help from Kareem who was trying to mentor the young big man.
