Tragic news made its way to a Tennessee church before it got to us. A bus transporting elderly members of the Front Street Baptist church in Statesvile, NC drifted on to the median of Route 40 after a front tire busted causing it to collide with a tractor-trailer and a Chevy Tahoe.
The tractor-trailer immediately caught fire and the bus overturned as dark clouds stretched into sky. It’s reported that the bus was carrying 18 passengers in total and of that 18, 6 were pronounced dead in addition to the tractor-trailer’s driver and a passenger in the SUV.
