Atlanta’s own Rocko finally spoke out on his recent confrontation with the controversial Guwop a.k.a Gucci Mane! Rocko took to a radio interview to express his thoughts on Gucci’s recent backlash against his fellow colleagues in the music industry and his overall state of mind to which he believes ” We should all be praying for”, hit the jump for more!
Rocko took the mature route and approached Gucci as any real man would, face to face, after Gucci let out a series of tweets disrespecting his once friend. But although Rocko confronted Gucci, he admits that he only wishes well for the rapper and holds no grudges. SOHH Reports:
“I mean, at the end of the day, man, pray for homie,” Rocko said in an interview. “I pulled up, you know what I mean? That’s what real men do. Real men address their issues head-first. Ain’t no situation where I’m going to rough the man because I’ve been here, I’m here to stay. Rocko is officially in this city. Rocko is the people’s champ — at the end of the day, it ain’t no persona for me. … That was my ace, you know what I mean? When all that took place, I was in awe. I’m like, ‘Whoa.’ So I’m like, ‘Nah, this ain’t my homie.’ So I pulled up, we had a conversation or whatever, but you know, homie’s going through some things. I just ask everybody to pray for homie. Hopefully he’ll be better – I ain’t gonna hold no grudge.” (Streetz 94.5)
September 9th Gucci went on a twitter rant where he started to call Rocko out:
“Just seen. Rocko. Ge ask me. 1 question. All most was. With his maker. Who next. He cried like a hoe. N ran,”
“Rocko. Cum back lets finish our talk bitch”
“I should have went in his pocket. He had a switchblade. Lol. Brah. Bring me. A. Combo from Mcdonalds I got u dollar menu ass rappers”
Atleast Rocko is the bigger man and gucci seems to want to change, hopefully this includes getting rid of his outbursts!
