The Cindarella story-gone-wrong relationship between Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth is officially over, but was there something huge keeping the two together for so long? According to sources close to Miley and Liam, the couple had a pregnancy scare which made them tough it out and stay coupled up. Miley was reportedly excited and couldn’t wait to go public with the announcement (even before she confirmed with her doctor if it was true), but Liam was begging her to keep that info between the two of them.
The source revealed:
“Miley thought she was expecting and wanted to announce it to the world, even before she went to the doctor to verify the results. Liam begged her not to go public yet. He was emotionally out of the romance for months by that point, though he was still sleeping with her. She agreed to stay quiet for Liam’s sake.”
The close friend to the couple also explained how Miley was using the possible pregnancy to keep Liam from leaving her, despite their relationship troubles:
“[Miley] essentially trapped Liam in the relationship, telling him that if he left her alone, she’d tell the world that he had abandoned her at such a delicate time. She begged him to stay and said that he could have his space, as long as he didn’t break up with her. So Liam obliged. He got his freedom and she got the right to say they were still engaged.”
Apparently after Miley took a test and realized she was not prego, the two had no reason to continue their 4-year-long romance.
As of now, reps for both Liam and twerk queen Cyrus are denying the supposed pregnancy rumors. However, imagine if the pregnancy rumors were true and Miley popped out a twerking baby Cyrus-Hemsworth?! My my, how different things would be if that was the case.
