The New England Patriots pulled off wins but Tom Brady isn’t too happy with his receivers. The Patriots front office have shown no desire to add any veteran wide receivers to the mix despite the struggles of rookie pass catchers Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins. Brady is so disappointed he’s been hitting up former Patriots receivers Deion Branch and Brandon Lloyd, hoping they’ll come back. Read more after the jump.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport:
Tom Brady himself has been calling & texting Deion Branch and Brandon Lloyd, gauging their availability. Deion Branch has told Tom Brady he’s ready whenever, hanging in Kentucky. Brandon Lloyd isn’t yet. But he is acting in zombie movies.
The Patriots haven’t made any offers to them yet so I guess Brady is going to have to make due with what he has and hope that Danny Amendola and Rob Gronkowski get healthy soon.
