There was a lot of hype yesterday about this rally that was held yesterday for the Jags to sign Tim Tebow. A group of Jaguars fans held a rally in the EverBank Field parking lot that began at 3:16 pm & last three hours and 16 minutes (playing off the Bible verse John 3:16 which Tebow made popular from having it inscribed on his eye black for the 2009 BCS title game.).
So just how many fans showed up for this BIG rally?! All I could do was laugh. Check it out…

According to a report by Sports Illustrated‘s John Otano, a rally was organized at Jags-Tebow.com. The website’s mission reads as follows: “Make it clear, we the fans, want the Jacksonville Jaguars to bring in Tim Tebow. You know you want to see this happen.”
Tim Duval of Bold City Brigade was at the rally and revealed an underwhelming turnout.

James Stewart, a 56-year-old Jacksonville native and Jaguars fan who is one of the event’s organizers, said about 20 people participated in the rally, while 30 media members covered the event.
