Maybe Adrian Peterson is just on such a higher level right now that he doesn’t look at the game the same way as other players. Something that most running backs strive for each week, Peterson thinks should be easy. I guess after you almost break the rushing record last year you are really going to be feeling yourself. What is he talking about? Hit the jump.

AP is not your average running back. So 100 yard rushing games are no longer major to him. In an interview with ESPN radio, he said “Every time I don’t get 100, I think ‘wow,’ because it’s so easy to get 100.” So easy to get 100? Most running backs never see 100 yard game in their career. This is also coming off a game last week where Peterson finished under 100 yards. I guess he was so shocked that he didn’t hit the mark. I am sure though, that there will be many games this season when he is well over 100 yards.
