In the eyes of her 11-year-old sister, Azariah, Bre’Asia Morrow is nothing short of a hero. The two children were home alone when two men broke in through the back door. instead of panicking, panting, and screaming “who’s there?” like in the movies, Bre’Asia remained calm and called the police. Once the noises of the burglars were heard, the police were called. Because of their ages, the 911 operator opted to stay on the phone with the 12-year-old. During that time, Bre’Asia relayed everything that was happening while they both hid in the closet. One of the burglars even entered the room to steal cash, but the girls remained unnoticed.
Thankfully, the police arrived to the home while the two men were still in the process of cleaning them out and were able to arrest them both. As for the children’s parents, their father hinted at buying a guard dog and taking the girls to weapons training once they’re a little older.
