An eastern European woman named Tsiuri Kvaratskhelia decided to preserve her dead son’s body in order to show his son what type of man he was. Pretty odd, to say the least. I mean, what’s the kid going to do? Throw a ball into the casket and call it “catch?”
After his death, on his birthday every year until four years ago, his mother would give him a new set of clothes. She stopped because the decay began to make that impossible. What’s even more alarming is that the son’s grave is beneath the family’s home. Check out her interview while exhuming the body after the jump.
She explained that “he wanted his kid to see him that way [and] I believe from that point on the kid started to love his father.” According to Daily Mail, “There is also a little viewing window in the basement so family, friends and passers by can see how he’s getting on.”
In addition to that, she changes his sheets everyday to prevent his skin from turning black.
