Police ran wild in Mexico City! Thirty police horses ran wild after being startled by the sound of car engines as they were being taken out of trailers. The horses were to be taken out to help control a group of protesters, but that eventually turned to chaos. Hit the jump to see just how bad it was.
The horses caused major chaos. Along with some cars being damaged and even totaled, in the process many of the horses were injured too. Luckily for them, they weren’t race horses and weren’t put to sleep. Instead, a roadside vet nursed them back to sufficient health. One eyewitness said, “I had stopped at the traffic light when I heard the horses coming. A horse hit the car. The horse fell, got up and continued.’
