The Yemen Prime minister experienced an attack by suspected gunmen today, when shots began spraying at his vehicle as he was heading home, hit the jump for more details!
An aide to the prime minister has stated to media that the prime minister is unharmed after a attack by gunmen set upon him today. Gunmen opened fire on the prime minister’s vehicle filled with his escorts and security. The suspects in the attempted assassination on the Yemen Premier Mohammed Salem Bassindwa, are allegedly Al-Quida linked reported officials.
“Ali al-Sarari tells The Associated Press the gunmen were riding in a vehicle without license plates. Al-Sarari said they opened fire at the three-car convoy of Prime Minister Mohammed Salem Bassindwa, spraying the speeding vehicles with bullets”
“Al-Sarari said some of the vehicles were pockmarked but Bassindwa escaped unharmed. It was not clear who was behind the attack but militants have carried out a number of assassinations, mainly against security officers”
