An 8 year old Alabama girl saved her 4 year old little brother from being mauled by a dog, unfortunately it resulted in the dog turning on her, Hit the jump for more detail!
Mackenzie Lebron an 8 year old from Alabama did some swift thinking when she saw a dog attacking her little brother! She immediately put the younger sibling on top of a nearby car, but unfortunately for the courageous girl, the dog began to focus its attention on her. Mackenzie received several bite wounds from the dog, including one in the stomach and another in the child’s leg.
The grandmother of the children had been outside with them yet could not respond to the attacks of the vicious dog, luckily a brave Samaritan fought the dog off of the young girl.
“Mackenzie was treated and released from the hospital and her family is grateful for her bravery”
“I’m very proud of her,” Chastity Bradford, Mackenzie’s aunt, told the news outlet.
