Although the Jets defeated the Giants 24-21 Saturday night, all inquiries and criticism was directed towards them and their head coach Rex Ryan. Rookie quarterback Geno Smith threw a touchdown but also threw 3 interceptions and ran out of the end zone for a safety. During the fourth quarter Ryan put Mark Sanchez in; many considered that an unwise decision because he was protected by the Jets b squad and in turn he ended up injuring his shoulder. New York’s notoriously rash media harshly questioned Ryan about why he put Sanchez in and who would be the Jets starting quarterback. Ryan’s reaction was angry and bizarre.
