A southern Mexico train filled with migrants derailed on its way to the U.S, causing for the injuries of many! Hit the jump for the full story!
The derailment of a disreputable cargo train filled with Central American migrants en route to the U.S is reported to have derailed in a secluded area of Southern Mexico this Sunday.
The train is known to have passengers unaccounted for, in which mexican residents sneak on and undergo deadly conditions while riding on the top of the train called the “Beast” in hopes to cross the U.S border. The Red Cross stated that many passengers have been trapped on the cargo. The derailment of the train has caused for 5 to die and has left 35 injured with more counting.
“The federal government said 16 of the 35 injured were gravely hurt. Fifteen of the badly injured have been moved to the nearest hospital in the state of Veracruz, which borders Tabasco”
“The Red Cross said dozens of soldiers, marines and civilian emergency workers were trying to get access to the area, which ambulances couldn’t reach. Officials were trying to establish air or water links to the scene”.
