Metta World Peace has never been one to hold anything back. Sometimes he says crazy things, but when he is being serious you can usually count on it as a fact. Recently he was speaking about now being with the Knicks and the conversation shifted to his time last season with the Lakers. He was honest as always. Hit the jump.

Metta apparently was not having a good time being a member of the Lakers last season. He said “It wasn’t fun,’’ World Peace said. “There was no chemistry. Deceased Lakers owner Dr. Buss was a chemist. All his molecules had great formulas. This one didn’t match up. So we kind of had no chemistry. There was no chemistry as an organization. I thought we were going to win a championship. I was ready for my vacation after ring No. 2 in Turks and Caicos.’’
Any fan could see nothing seemed fun in Lakers land this past season. Coaching issues, Dwight issues, Kobe issues, injury issues, all added up to a horrible season for a team that was supposed to be in the mix for a championship. Rest assured Metta is happy to be in NY!
