A man in a Florida Dunkin Donuts was extremely unhappy with his order. So unhappy, that he decided to storm back into the store to cause a scene. And a scene it was. 27-year-old Jeffery Wright apparently ordered coffee through the drive-thru when they realized that it was the wrong flavor. So, he parked up and entered the store with his 22-year-old wife, Alexis Longo. According to local reports, “The enraged couple walked into the store and demanded Hall make them a fresh cup of coffee — but he said they wouldn’t tell him how they wanted it.” Hit the jump for more info.
“I asked them what do they want in the coffee,” Rajay Hall (the victim) told the news station. “She was like, ‘I don’t know — just make back the coffee.’ She was cursing at me.”
Immediately after, the couple jumped Hall. As the manager tried to step in and break it up, Wright started smashing Hall in the head with a loaded Taurus Slim .9-mm handgun, which he pulled out of his waistband. It turns out that Wright works as a security guard was licensed to carry the gun. But during the whipping, his wife yelled for him to pull the trigger. Lauderhill Police spokesman Lt. Mike Butkus told NBC that “Several (witnesses) do indicate that the wife did mention that he should shoot the actual manager.”
Crazy. Hopefully this helps sort out some of Florida’s gun laws. This could have gotten messy.
