I have been using Republic Wirelsee for over a year now, and have’t had any major complaints! For the price I pay, most definitely out performs!! If you are looking to get your youngster a really affordable phone, that won’t hurt your pocket at purchase AND during it’s lifespan, Hit the jump!!
They have 2 ways to save, either you but the phone straight out for the low price of $150 and then pay $19 a month(it comes to under $23 a month total) for unlimited everything, OR Put $29 down, and pay $29 a month…Still unlimited everything!!
OK, there is a bit of a catch, isn’t there always, Republic is built off of VOIP(Voice Over Internet Provider), aka a WiFi Phone. The premise is the phone should be connected to wifi most of the time for these savings, BUT it does fall back to the sprint network so IF no wifi is available you still have a connection. Now if you have a teen Or tween, this is pretty much perfect, most of their over chattering will take place in the house, where your wifi is the most stable, you’re clear to save, and when they are at school or on their way home, and they have to call you or you them, you can still get in touch with them, and it won’t raise the bill!!
Like I said I’ve used this for over a year now, I’ve gone on business trips with no wifi available and have had to use this lot, My bill was still under $23, NO Complaints!!
