Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller’s name is listed among dozens of potential prosecution witnesses in a death-penalty trial for a man accused of killing five people in Denver last year.
The witness list was made public Monday and obtained by KUSA, Denver’s NBC affiliate and a Gannett property.
Miller does not appear to have any direct link to the case, and appears on the witness list as an acquaintance of a friend of the defendant, Dexter Lewis, who is accused of killing five people after a robbery at Fero’s Bar. The bar was then set on fire.
